
Founded in 1917, the Asheville Board of REALTORS® has been instrumental in the growth of organized real estate in the state of North Carolina for the past 91 years. With over 1800 REALTOR® and Allied Members, the Asheville Board is the largest local real estate organization in Western North Carolina and has played a major role in the growth and development of the state license law and the NC Real Estate Commission.

The Asheville Board of REALTORS® has a long-standing history of supporting the local community. In 2007 and 2008, the Board has co-sponsored building a Habitat for Humanity home in Asheville and continues to work with this charity. The home build requires the assistance of 200-300 volunteer Board members.
