Greensboro, North Carolina – The North Carolina Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce its support for the Connect NC Bond Referendum Campaign. The Connect NC Bond will affect REALTORS® all over the state, both personally and professionally as this referendum will attract business and growth while improving the livelihoods of North Carolinians from the mountains to the coast.

Through the support of our members, NC REALTORS® will provide $150,000 to the Connect NC Campaign in financial and in-kind contributions.

NC REALTORS® are committed to improving the quality of life in North Carolina and this support is in line with the Association’s continued goals. Additionally, supporting this bond shows that REALTORS® and the real estate industry are team players in the effort to improve North Carolina.

The bond provides REALTORS® with an opportunity to be leaders in a positive political action that is an effort to build a better future for our state. Numerous organizations and bipartisan elected officials support the Connect NC Bond. The bond provides funding for infrastructure development in both rural and urban areas, raising the importance of the referendum beyond strictly local concerns.

The Connect NC Bond will move North Carolina further into the 21st century through statewide improvements in education, parks, safety, education, recreation, and water and sewer infrastructure. Almost every county is slated to receive the benefits of this bond and it is a smart move for North Carolina and thus, all North Carolina REALTORS®.

This includes $110 million for a new Science and STEM facility at Western Carolina University and $105 million for a new Nursing School Facility at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. It will also provide $309.5 million to support grants for local governments to improve their water and sewer systems.
